A fresh new look for one of Hong Kong’s leading academic institutions.

Hong Kong’s French International School engaged Brand Emotive for a complete brand and identity revamp. While preserving their 50-year heritage, we redesigned their brand logo, livery, internal communication guidelines and
website.

Wanting to incorporate both Hong Kong and French symbolism, we took inspiration from Hong Kong’s Bauhinia flower to create a dynamic icon that displays the French tricolour, whose petals seem to come together like children at play.

A new visual language was thoughtfully articulated across all communications – from print and school signage to vehicles and even bathroom doors. We delivered clear brand guidelines so each faculty member, teacher and contractor could implement them easily and accurately.
